have been kissed by God

and we are
scattered randomly
throughout this world

and we see the word
Yes
written in the clouds

we radiate so that
others may find their way
through the darkness

we’re the eyes
that penetrate
and reflect back

miles can
separate our bodies
but our souls
travel as one

our dreams guide
our actions

we are ever faithful
and often confused

our contributions
exist briefly
in loving praxis
and are rarely captured
save for a poem
a song
a dance

and sometimes when
God’s mercy and kindness
allows us to meet

in each other’s eyes
the mirrors reflect

and we glimpse
the infinite
the intimate

forever.

Wow.  Your faith is really seeping into the crevices.

I loved this poem.

Great job.

I know it's a cop out of sorts, but I can't really say it better than Tova.

And I like people like you.

And here is cop out number two. Well done, as per usual.

Do you have a myspace? I'm ashamed to say I totally forgot about you until I was rummaging through some things the other day and found your book. I'm glad I rediscovered you . Trinitie

Dear Tova, Roy, Maso, and Kelly,

Thank you for the warm response to this.
I'm glad my faith is evident in this work. It's been a great year, spiritually, and I hope that comes through clearly. - Moskowitz

And Trinitie! Good to see you! I have a website I host where you can hear me reading, go to
http://www.virtualpoetryreading.comLink and go to the list of poems and you'll see and hear me!
Keep in touch, I don't have a myspace (hey, I'm 44, way too old for that silliness) but I am at ihatepoetry@verizon.net.
